Workplace diversity and inclusion

We focus on providing an inclusive workplace culture. We acknowledge the skills and perspectives that people may bring to the workplace by gender, race, ethnicity, disability or other difference. Everyone is encouraged to apply. We are committed to providing a working environment that values diversity and inclusion and supports all staff to reach their full potential.

Candidates with disability can make requests for modifications or adjustments. The requests may assist you in applying for positions, or if you are successful may assist you in your position.

Notify the contact officer via email or phone before the closing date if you have requirements to participate in an interview or attend an assessment centre.

More information

You can find out more about workplace diversity and inclusion by following these links:

RecruitAbility

We are participating in the Australian Public Service (APS) RecruitAbility Scheme pilot. The scheme supports the employment of people with disability in the APS by giving them a better opportunity to put forward their skills and experience during the selection process.

This means that applicants who declare they have disability, opt into the scheme, and demonstrate that they meet the minimum inherent requirements for the position, are automatically progressed to further assessment stages.
