How to apply - National Graduate Program
Application Process
The National Graduate Program’s application process is:
- recruitment round opens
- applications are submitted through an online portal.
- applications are assessed
- applicants are required to undertake testing and telephone screenings
- applicants participate in assessment centres held across Australia
- successful applicants will be sent a letter of offer
- unsuccessful applicants will be notified.
We have developed this innovative methodology to recruit graduates and match them into graduate placements that will develop their abilities for future roles.
Once successful
Letter of offer
Successful applicants will be provided with full details of commencement in their letter of offer.
We strongly suggest you ensure you pass your medical check, criminal history check and meet all of the requirements of the NGP before resigning from any current employment.
Medical clearance
The medical clearance is a general health check to ensure you are fit for work and allow us to make any workplace health adjustments for you if required. Further information will be provided with your letter of offer.
Criminal history check
Before starting work with us, you will be required to undergo a criminal history check. Further information will be sent with your letter of offer.
Relocation to Canberra
If you are offered a position in the NGP, you may be required to relocate to Canberra, ACT.
Subject to business requirements, there are opportunities to offer successful graduates placements in cities around Australia, however most NGP positions are located in Canberra. We recommend you be prepared to relocate when considering applying for the NGP.
Relocation costs
We will pay for the relocation of your furniture and motor vehicle. Relocating pets will be at your own expense.
We also provide a household establishment allowance to be used in any way, such as bond for a property you have found
When you first relocate to Canberra, we provide you with 21 nights accommodation in a fully self-contained serviced apartment.
