myGov and privacy
The department operates the myGov service on behalf of the Australian Government. Member services include the Medicare, Centrelink and Child Support programmes, the Australian Taxation Office, the Department of Health, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and the National Disability Insurance Scheme. When the myGov service was established in May 2013 a Privacy Impact Assessment was undertaken. We have provided a summary of that Privacy Impact Assessment, together with an explanatory statement.

Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Maturity Model (P3M3) Assessment Report and the Department of Human Services Capability Improvement Plan (CIP)
The Department of Finance’s ICT Reform Agency Capability Initiative requires all Agencies to conduct a formal P3M3 assessment of their capability and report the outcome to the Department of Finance. The purpose is to apply a common methodology to evaluate Australian Government Agencies and assess their organisational capability to commission, manage and realise benefits from ICT enabled investments.
