Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP)

The Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP) is available to assist people who have been adversely affected by the Queensland floods that began on 21 January 2013.

The claiming period for the Bundaberg, Cherbourg, Gladstone, Gympie, Fraser Coast, Lockyer Valley, North Burnett, Rockhampton, Somerset and South Burnett Local Government Areas has now closed. However, late claims may be considered in exceptional circumstances.

Claiming

You can:

  • call us on 180 22 66
  • complete, sign and take your claim form to your nearest Centrelink or Medicare Service Centre or Agent, or post to:

Disaster Income Recovery Subsidy Payment (DIRS)

The Disaster Income Recovery Subsidy will provide ex-gratia financial assistance to employees, small business persons and farmers who have experienced a loss of income as a direct result of ex-Tropical Cyclone Oswald and associated flooding that commenced on 21 January 2013 and continued through until 9 February 2013.

The claiming period has now closed for the following Local Government Areas:

  • Banana
  • Bundaberg
  • Central Highlands
  • Fraser Coast
  • Gladstone
  • Gold Coast
  • Goondiwindi
  • Gympie
  • Ipswich
  • Lockyer Valley
  • Logan
  • North Burnett
  • Rockhampton
  • Scenic Rim
  • Somerset
  • South Burnett
  • Southern Downs
  • Sunshine Coast
  • Toowoomba
  • Western Downs

However, late claims may still be considered in exceptional circumstances.
