Claiming a Centrelink payment
You can claim online for a range of Centrelink payments. The list below shows all the payments you may be able to claim:
- Age Pension
- Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment
- Austudy
- Baby Bonus
- Child Care Benefit
- Commonwealth Seniors Health Care Card
- Dad and Partner Pay
- Essential Medical Equipment Payment
- Ex-Carer Allowance (child) Health Care Card
- Family Tax Benefit
- Foster Child Health Care Card
- Low Income Health Care Card
- Low Income Supplement
- Parental Leave Pay
- Youth Allowance - student
Lodge an intent to claim for other payments
To make a claim for any other payment (including payments available to job seekers or claims for ABSTUDY), you can:
- register an intent to claim
- call us to say you would like to register an intent to claim
- visit your nearest DHS Service Centre.
Note: The Intent to Claim registration does not apply to claims for Family Assistance. This includes Family Tax Benefit, Child Care Benefit, Baby Bonus and Maternity Immunisation Allowance.
