Income Management in Queensland (Cape York communities)

Who it applies to

Income Management does not apply to everyone living in Cape York communities. Your payments may be income managed if you have been referred by the Queensland Family Responsibilities Commission (FRC). The FRC will make this referral if they believe Income Management can assist you in providing for your family’s priority needs.

We will contact you if you have been referred for Income Management.

Volunteer for Income Management

If you live in one of these locations and receive an income-support payment or Department of Veterans’ Affairs payment, you can ask the FRC to have your payments income managed.

Moving permanently or temporarily to a new location

You will need to let us know if and when you move permanently or temporarily to a new location. If your payments are being income managed, the arrangement may continue.
