Income Management in Western Australia (Perth Metropolitan and the Kimberley region)

The Australian Government is working in partnership with the Western Australian Government to deliver Income Management in selected Western Australian communities. The aim of the initiative is to encourage responsible behaviour by parents to enhance the wellbeing of their children.

Who it applies to

Income Management does not apply to everyone living in metropolitan Perth and the Kimberley region. Your payments may be income managed if you have been:

• referred by a child-protection authority or
• volunteer for Income Management

We will contact you if you have been referred for Income Management.

Moving permanently or temporarily to a new location

You will need to let us know when and if you move permanently or temporarily to a new location. If your payments are being income managed, the arrangement may continue.
