  • As the form covers the full normal assessment period, you must include estimates of earnings or other changes for the full period. Incorrect estimates are to be corrected within 14 days or on the next form
  • Forms with an early return date will be printed on yellow paper. If you are a postal lodger you have the option to return your forms personally on the early return date
  • Forms can be returned after the end of your reporting periods if you wish to wait until you are sure of your earnings or other changes. Remember that forms must be returned before you can be paid
  • Online Services and Phone Self Service will not be available during national public holidays for the Easter 2012 period. They will be available on ANZAC Day 2012.

Important points for payments

  • An early payment is not an extra payment. It is a normal payment paid early because of the public holiday period. You will need to budget carefully so this payment lasts until your next payment is due
  • No payments will be delayed by public holidays. Some payments will be made early
  • Where payments are made early they are advanced by as few working days as possible – to minimise disruption to your budgeting patterns.

Accessing Child Support information

For calls relating to child support, there will be a limited phone enquiry service over the holiday period. If you have an urgent child support issue you can still contact us on 131 272.

You’ll be able to get your latest payment information by calling the automated Child Support Information Service on 131 107. You can also enrol for CSAonline.

Claiming Medicare payments

You can save yourself a trip to a service centre by using one of our other options for claiming Medicare. The most convenient ways to claim are at your doctor when you pay or online through Online Services, if you’re registered. Find out more about how to claim from Medicare
