Indigenous Wage Subsidy
Indigenous Wage Subsidy is a payment for employers who employ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.
If you are an employer who hires an Indigenous person you can apply for a wage subsidy. The Indigenous Wage Subsidy offers payments to employers for eligible job seekers.
The job seeker must:
- be registered as a fully eligible participant with Centrelink
- be receiving an income support payment or participating in a Community Development Employment Project
- identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- have a wage subsidy card
