Centrelink provides information and community support services in selected Centrelink Service Centres to provide support and assistance to veterans.

Centrelink provides information and support services for veterans on behalf of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. If you or someone you know is a veteran, visit one of the participating Centrelink Service Centres to find out what is available to support you.

Veteran Information Services provide information to veterans on a range of common issues, including questions on eligibility for government payments and services, application procedures and entitlements. 

Community Support Services is an integrated, community-based service that is dedicated to working with community organisations and local health services to identify the needs of veterans. Community Advisors assist in developing programs within the community to meet those needs.
