The Medicare Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Access line is a free telephone service to help Indigenous people living anywhere in Australia use Medicare services and programs.
If you are an Indigenous Australian you can make a free call to the Medicare Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Access line when you want information on, or need to use, Medicare services and programs.
When you call, you will talk to a Medicare Liaison Officer who is aware of Indigenous culture and who can help with your special needs. It does not cost you anything to phone.
