Multilingual Phone Service

If you speak a language other than English, you can call us and talk to someone in your own language about services and payments.

Help in your language

We can help you if you speak a language other than English.

  • We have a range of translated publications available in your language.
  • We provide free interpreters and a free translation service to help you conduct your business.
  • Call our Multilingual Phone Service to speak to someone in your language about Centrelink payments and services.

If you speak a language other than English, our multilingual phone service lets you speak to someone in your own language. If we are unable to speak your language, we will use a telephone interpreter service to assist you.

Call us on 131 202 for information about Centrelink services and payments. You can reach us between 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. (local time), Monday to Friday. To talk to us about Medicare and Child Support services in languages other than English, call the Translating and Interpreting Service, on 131 450.
