Online Services
Our Online Services provide you with a convenient and secure way to manage some of your business with the Centrelink, Child Support or Medicare programs. You need to register to use some of the services – then you can do most of your business where and when it suits you.

What should you do next
If you have not registered for Online Services for Centrelink, Child Support and Medicare and obtained your one user ID from australia.gov.au, register now.
If you have already begun your registration process with a customer service advisor and have received your activation code, please activate now.
If you are an existing Online Services customer, you can log on to your account at australia.gov.au or through Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support using the log on panel.
Make claims
You can make a claim for some payments and services online if you are a registered Online Services customer. Refer to the sections below to find out what you can do online.
Centrelink customers
If you are a Centrelink customer you can:
- claim a payment
- report your employment income
- receive online letters
- update personal details
- apply for an advance payment
- request a document
- print an income statement
- update child care rebate payment frequency
- complete a rent review

Child Support customers can:
- check account information
- view and update personal details
- check when payments are due and how much
- access most Child Support letters
- complete and lodge a range of case-related forms

Medicare customers
For Medicare services, you can:
- lodge a Medicare claim for a simple GP consultation
- request a replacement or duplicate Medicare card
- update or register bank account details
- update or view personal details
- view Medicare claims history for the previous 12 months
- view Medicare Safety Net balance for the current calendar year
- view Medicare benefit tax statement for the current and previous financial year
- view Care Plan access history
- view Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI)* number history
- view organ donor registration details
- view child immunisation history statement
*An Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI) is allocated to all individuals enrolled in the Medicare program or those who are issued with a Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) treatment card and others who seek healthcare in Australia. A healthcare identifier has been created to be used by healthcare providers to improve the security and efficient management of personal health information.
