Delivery Strategy Branch
The Branch develops high-level service delivery strategies across agencies, analyses information technology issues and provides specialist advice.
Main responsibilities are:
- to implement a Human Services Cross Agency Service Delivery Strategy that is focussed on people and improves whole-of-Government outcomes
- to ensure that appropriate governance is in place for key initiatives implemented by Human Services agencies
- to advise the Minister on procurement, property and information technology
- to coordinate the independent review of significant information technology, property and procurement initiatives
- to identify the information technology, property and procurement implications of new policy initiatives
- to ensure that relevant technology trends are understood and exploited
- to coordinate cross agency initiatives such as call centres, emergency management policy development and others
- to coordinate cross agency procurement policy compliance, and
- to manage the on-line agenda across the Department of Human Services.
