Human Services Budget at a glance
Human Services has a number of measures announced as part of the 2006-07 Federal Budget. These comprise measures brought forward by the Minister for Human Services as well as measures brought forward by other Ministers which Human Services agencies will play an important role in implementing.
The key themes of the measures brought forward by the Minister for Human Services, Better Compliance and Better Service, specifically target health and welfare fraud and compliance, and improvements to the delivery of services to customers by Human Services agencies.
