Community resources and help

You may need to refer customers to resources and help that are sensitive to their personal circumstances during times of crisis.

We offer guidance and support in times of need, including experienced specialist staff, one off payments, support services and referrals to other resources that can help customers during times of personal crisis and difficulty.

A person does not need to be receiving a payment from us in order to talk to our social workers, attend a financial information seminar, and access a range of resources. Our specialist staff can help specific customer groups.

Customers who are currently receiving a payment from us can access additional financial help during times of hardship, advance payments, and a number of services to manage their money.
