The Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development aims to promote economic, social and regional development by enhancing Australia's infrastructure performance.

They provide policy advice to the Ministers for Infrastructure and Regional Development portfolio and deliver a variety of programs on behalf of the Australian Government.
