Low Income Supplement - cessation

From 1 July 2017, the Low Income Supplement will no longer be available.

This measure will start on 1 July 2017.

Description of the measure

The Low Income Supplement is a $300 tax exempt payment to assist people in low income households, who do not receive similar assistance through tax reforms or other Household Assistance Package payments.

The Low Income Supplement started on 1 July 2012 and will cease on 30 June 2017.
