Average remuneration for executives and other highly paid staff who work in the department.

Definitions

Salary

Salary is reported in an individual’s payment summary and includes:

  • gross payments, including vehicle allowance (where applicable)
  • fringe benefits
  • employer superannuation
  • salary packaging
  • other allowances

Contributed superannuation

Contributed superannuation includes:

  • the amount recorded on an individual’s payslip, for those in a defined contribution scheme, such as PSSap
  • Notional Employer Contribution Amount, Employer Productivity Superannuation Contribution and Additional Lump Sum Contribution, for those in a defined benefits scheme, such as PSS and CSS

Allowances and bonuses

An allowance is any allowance reported in an individual’s payment summary.
We have not paid a bonus payment to any staff.
