Overview

The major functions of the Australian Immunisation Register (the AIR) are to provide an:

  • accurate measure of immunisation coverage in Australia, and

  • effective management tool for monitoring immunisation coverage and service delivery

A range of statistic and coverage reports have been developed to inform the general public about immunisation in Australia.

Authorised vaccination providers can access detailed reports via the AIR site.

These and historical coverage statistics are published on the Vaccination Data Hub page of the Department of Health Immunise Australia Program website.
