You can claim JET Child Care Fee Assistance:


Download and complete the Request for Jobs, Education and Training Child Care Fee Assistance form. You can submit your completed form, and provide supporting documentation online using your Centrelink online account through myGov or using the Express Plus Mobile app.

By phone or in person

If you cannot submit your form and supporting documentation online, you can start your claim by calling us on 136 150 or visiting a service centre. We'll tell you if we need any further information or supporting documentation to assess your claim.

Supporting documentation

You'll need to provide confirmation of identity, proof of enrolment and any other documents we ask you for with your claim.

Claim outcome

We'll tell you if your claim is successful, when your payment will start and how many JET Child Care Fee Assistance hours you've been approved for.

If you disagree with a decision, contact us as soon as possible. It's important to ask for a review or appeal within 28 days of being notified about the decision. If your request for a review is more than 28 days after being notified and the decision can be changed, you may only receive your entitlement from the date you requested the review.

There's no time limit for a review of a decision about money you owe us. However, you may have to pay back the money while the decision is being reviewed.
