You don’t need to complete the online claim in one session. You can save your answers and do your claim later. You’re only asked questions relevant to your circumstances.

If you don’t have access to a printer, pick up a form from a service centre or call the People with disability line and we’ll send you one.

Submit your claim

Payments are paid directly into your bank account, so make sure you register your bank details when you submit your claim.

Online

By form

Submit your form and supporting documents by post or in person at a service centre within 14 days of notifying us of your intent to claim.

Claim outcome

We’ll tell you if your claim is successful. If you’re eligible for Sickness Allowance, we’ll let you know when your payment starts and how much you get.
