Referral by the Family Responsibilities Commission for Income Management

Your payments can be income managed if the Family Responsibilities Commission (FRC) in Queensland refers you.

This is because the Family Responsibilities Commission (FRC) in Queensland believes Income Management can help you and your family.

If you do not agree with their decision you need to contact them.

You’ll be income managed for 3 to 12 months. After that, the FRC will review your progress. Depending on the result, Income Management may continue.

Volunteering for Income Management

If you want to volunteer for Income Management, contact the FRC. You have to ask the FRC to refer you for Income Management.

What happens to your money

We’ll manage:

  • 60%, 75% or 90% of your payments, and
  • 100% of any advance and lump sum payments

The rest of your payments will be paid as usual.
