The Student Start-up Scholarship is ending

From 1 July 2017, the Student Start-up Scholarship is being replaced by the Student Start-up Loan for all students.

If you got the scholarship in the past, you may have recently got a letter about this change.

We know the upfront costs of returning to study can be expensive, so now is the time to start thinking about your options.

Your institute of study is the best place to find out about upfront costs and other ways of accessing materials.

If you need financial help, you can apply for the Student Start-up Loan.

The loan is a voluntary payment of $1,035 that must be repaid. If eligible, you can get the loan up to twice a year.
