Update your details with Medicare without leaving the house

Register and update your details when and where it suits you, using your Medicare online account or Express Plus Medicare mobile app.

By registering your bank account details with us we can pay your Medicare benefits directly into your nominated bank account.

To add or update your bank account or other details using your Medicare online account, sign in through myGov and select Personal Details from the main menu.

To add or update your bank account or other details using the Express Plus Medicare mobile app, select My Profile from the main menu.

There are still some things you’ll need to do in person. Visit a service centre to update your name or date of birth so we can verify your identity.

Once you’ve created a myGov account and linked to Medicare, you have created a Medicare online account. You can then download and use the Express Plus Medicare mobile app. You can download the app to your mobile from the App Store, Google Play™ or the Microsoft Windows Store.
