Request a document using your Centrelink online account

This guide provides details on how to view and print your documents using your Centrelink online account.

Your documents, excluding concession cards and reporting statements, will be displayed as a Portable Document Format (PDF). To view documents you will need a PDF viewer. You can download this for free from the Adobe website.

Step 1

Once you have logged into myGov and selected your Centrelink online account, select the Request a Document tile on the right of your homepage.

Step 2

You can request a number of different documents depending on your circumstances.

Click on the drop down arrow and select the document you would like to request. The document types you can request include:

  • Centrelink Statement
  • Deduction Statement
  • Detailed Income and Asset Statement
  • Income Statement
  • Income Management Statement
  • Payment Summary
  • Replacement Concession Card

For the purpose of this guide we will use the example of requesting an Income Statement.

Step 3

Select Income Statement from the Document type drop down menu and then select who you are requesting the document for.

The date will default to today’s date. You can change the date if required by using the date picker, then select Submit.

Step 4

The Receipt page provides you with a link to the Income Statement PDF and a receipt number for your records. The PDF can be viewed, printed or saved.

A copy of the document will also be sent to your myGov Inbox or Centrelink letters online.

Step 5

To view the document, click on the link Income Statement.

The Income Statement will open in a separate window.

You can print this document by selecting the Print icon.

Or, select File from the tool bar, then Print from the menu.

You can also save a copy of this document by selecting the Save option from the File menu.

Step 6

Once you are done, select Finish.

You can request another document by selecting Request another document. Return to Step 2.

Step 7

Once you are back at your online account homepage, you can complete other transactions as required or you can return to your myGov account.

For your privacy and security, ensure you sign out when you have finished using your myGov account.
