Financial hardship assistance for those in aged care

There’s help for aged care recipients having trouble paying fees and charges.

Do you have care recipients facing financial hardship and unable to pay the full cost of their care?

They can apply to have some or all of their costs covered by the Australian Government.

To apply for financial hardship assistance the care recipient or their nominees need to complete 1 of the forms below, depending on the type of care they are getting.

It’s important to use the correct version of the form as we can’t assess earlier versions.

When we receive the completed form we’ll assess it and let the aged care provider and care recipient know the result.
