Health Professional Online Services (HPOS) is a fast and secure way for health professionals and administrators to do business with us.

Verification of some identity documents within Provider Digital Access (PRODA), may be unavailable from 8:30 am to 11:30 am on Sunday 30 April 2017 Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) due to scheduled maintenance. You can still access your PRODA account, use it to access services and create an account but you may not be able to finalise your account by verifying your identity during this time.

All new PRODA applications submitted for verification to us are currently being processed as a matter of priority. Your current access to HPOS can continue. The web browser updates start from January 2017. If you’re waiting for verification of your PRODA account, we’ll be in touch soon. Use your PRODA account to access HPOS. When the internet browsing software updates take effect, current Medicare PKI individual certificate won’t be supported. Read more about the PKI changes.

If you’re accessing HPOS using your new PRODA account, you need to re-establish your delegations and favourites in HPOS.

A new form upload function is now available in HPOS, letting you submit some forms to us online. Read more about form upload in HPOS.
