Details from your 2016-17 Centrelink payment summary have been pre-filled for you in myTax.
Your Centrelink payment summary shows the taxable and tax related payments you got from us this financial year. It also shows any tax amounts you paid from your payment. You need this information to lodge your tax return.
If you are lodging an individual tax return this year, these details have now been pre-filled for you. This means the information about your Centrelink payments will be in myTax when you lodge your tax return. This will happen if you lodge online or through a registered tax agent.
You can get a copy of your Centrelink payment summary via:
- your Centrelink online account with myGov
- the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app
- Centrelink phone self service and selecting the request a document option
- visiting a service centre and using a self-service terminal
