If you receive Child Care Rebate (CCR) quarterly, your payment is on its way.
We’ll start paying CCR for April to June from 24 July 2017 after we balance your child care payments for the 2016-17 financial year.
The date we balance your payments depends on your individual circumstances. This is because not all families have to do the same thing at tax time for us to balance their payments.
If you only receive CCR, because you didn’t provide your income details, you don’t need to do anything for us to balance your payments. We’ll automatically pay your quarterly CCR payment to you after 24 July 2017.
If you receive Child Care Benefit (CCB), or you received CCR only as your income was too high, you need to lodge your tax return or let us know you don’t need to lodge one so we can balance your payments. After we balance your CCB payments we’ll balance any CCR payments.
If we’ve balanced your payments and you haven’t received your CCR quarterly payment, you should check if we’ve issued the payment and we have your correct bank account details. You can do this using:
