It’s important you take action now. If you don’t, you’ll have to pay your child care fees in full from 2 July.
If you’re transitioning from a current payment
If you currently get a payment for approved child care, you need to complete a Child Care Subsidy assessment. You can do this using:

If you’re claiming for the first time
If you don’t need assistance with child care fees until 2 July 2018, you can claim Child Care Subsidy online. You can do this using your Centrelink online account via myGov.

If you need assistance with child care fees now, you can claim Child Care Benefit. When you claim online we’ll ask you some extra questions in your claim so we can assess you for Child Care Subsidy. If you’re eligible for both payments, you’ll receive Child Care Benefit until 1 July 2018 and Child Care Subsidy from 2 July 2018.
