If you’re dependent, you may need to give us your parents’ income details. Here’s how to do it.
If we need to review your parents’ income details, we’ll send you a letter in September.
We review your parents’ income each year to make sure you’re still eligible for your payment. We also use this reassessment to make sure we’re paying you the right amount.
If we ask for this information, it’s important that you give it to us.
If we don’t get their income details by the due date in your letter, we’ll stop your payment.
The easiest way for them to complete the income review is to follow the instructions in your letter.
If you don’t get a letter, you don’t need to do anything. We have all the information we need.
Get your parents to go online to complete the income reassessment if you get the letter.
If they get Youth Allowance or ABSTUDY Living Allowance, we may need to review your income details. Here’s what you need to do.
