By updating your number online, you can still get your code. This means you don’t need to create a new myGov account.
This can also help if you’ve:
- changed your mobile number,
- removed your myGov Access app or changed mobile devices, and
- previously used a text message code to sign in
You can update your mobile number in a few easy steps. There’s no need to call for help.
What you need to know
To update your mobile number with myGov, you’ll need access to the email account you registered with myGov.
You should also update your mobile number in your Account settings for your:
- inbox notifications
- username, and
- linked service details
