Important changes to the Child Support secure messaging service

The secure messaging service is changing. This means you can’t send us a message with secure messaging in your Child Support online account.

The secure message service has stopped and you can no longer send us messages. If you want to keep your messages you will need to save them. 

To save your messages, you need to:

  1. Sign in to your Child Support online account through myGov
  2. Go to Sent messages and View messages
  3. Copy and paste the messages you want to keep into a document and save it on your computer, or take a screenshot to save it as an image on your smartphone

We’ll reply to any outstanding secure messages you have sent us by letter or phone.

We’ll keep all your messages on file. In the future, if you need your messages you can request these from us.

You can continue to send documents electronically by emailing them to us.
