The menu has changed for our Medicare general enquiries line

13 November 2017

You can tell us what your call is about instead of using your phone keypad to go through our menu.

When you call our Medicare general enquiries line, you will be greeted by an automated voice that will ask you about your call. Simply answer and say what you want to do, or what you need help with and we’ll direct you to the next step.

You can still speak to a Service Officer.

Next steps

Call our Medicare general enquiries line on 132 011 and use the new menu to complete your Medicare business with us.

You can also access our services using the Express Plus Medicare mobile app or your Medicare online account through myGov. Online self service options are a quick and convenient way to avoid waiting in the phone queue.

You can use your Medicare online account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just create a myGov account and link your Medicare online account.

Call the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National) on 131 450 to speak to us in your language.
