Take action to keep your private information safe

We know it can be distressing to learn about a possible privacy breach.

The Australian Privacy Commissioner is investigating Amazing Rentals for a possible breach of personal information. The Commissioner has notified customers of Amazing Rentals in Darwin, Caboolture and Toowoomba to take steps to protect their personal details.

We have cancelled all Centrepay deductions to Amazing Rentals. If this affects you, we will contact you to let you know of the possible breach and offer support. We may ask you for photo ID and some extra questions to prove your identity the next time you see us in person or talk to us.

We can also talk to you about what to do to protect your identity and provide extra help if this worries you. We have trained staff in our Identity Support and Response Team who can explain how to keep your information safe.
