If they get Youth Allowance or ABSTUDY Living Allowance, we may need to review your income details. Here’s what you need to do.
If we need to review your income details, we’ll send your child a letter in September 2019.
We review your income each year to make sure your child is still eligible for their payment. We also use this reassessment to make sure we’re paying them the right amount.
The easiest way to complete the income review is to follow the instructions in your child’s letter.
You need to do this for each child who gets the letter.
We’ll stop your child’s payment if we don’t get your income details by the due date in your child’s letter.
If your child didn’t get a letter, you don’t need to do anything. We already have all the information we need.
Go online to complete the income reassessment if your child gets the letter.
Ask us questions at Family Update on Facebook. Remember, you shouldn’t share your personal details when you contact us in a public space like social media.
