Centrelink online account help - Get more time to do the Employment Income Confirmation

This guide shows you how to ask for more time to do your Employment Income Confirmation.


Step 1: request an extension to the due date

If you’re not already in your Centrelink online account, sign in to myGov and access your account.

If you need more time to confirm or change your information, select Need more time? You'll find this on the Employment Income Confirmation homepage.

A pop-up box will appear.

Your new due date will display.

If you would like the extra 14 days to do the Employment Income Confirmation update, select Yes.

A new pop-up box will appear confirming you have more time and giving you the new due date.

You can still ask for more time twice. If you still require more time after your second request, you can call us on 1800 086 400.
