Express Plus Medicare mobile app help - replace or duplicate a Medicare card
Learn how to get a replacement or duplicate Medicare card using the Express Plus Medicare mobile app.
You can only ask for a replacement or duplicate Medicare card twice in a calendar year.
Before you ask for a card, please make sure your address details are up to date. Find out how to update your contact details.
Step 1: get started
Select Replace card on your home screen.
If you need a:
Select a Replacement reason.
If your card lists 2 or more people, tell us if you need a duplicate card.
Review the information. If it’s correct, select Submit. You can then go to Step 4 to get your confirmation.
If the details are incorrect, select the back arrow and repeat this step.
Select I just need a duplicate card.
Review the information. If it’s correct, select Submit.
If the details are incorrect and you need a replacement card, select the back arrow and complete Step 2.
We’ll confirm your card request and tell you your new Medicare card number. We’ll send your card in 3 to 4 weeks.
Select OK then Home to return to the home screen.
You can use a digital copy of your Medicare straight away. To see a digital version of your Medicare card select Card.
Your digital card will display. Select the Home menu to return to the home screen.
Step 5: logout
From your home screen, you can complete other transactions.
For your privacy and security, please logout when you’ve finished. Select the Menu icon.
Then select Logout.
Select Yes to confirm you want to logout.
