Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority

A regulatory authority that works with the state and territory regulatory authorities to assess children's education and care services.

This includes overseeing the implementation of the National Quality Framework. This is the national system for the regulation and quality assessment of child care and early learning services such as:

  • long day care
  • family day care
  • preschool or kindergarten, and
  • outside school hours care services
