How it works
Income Management helps you manage your payments for essentials like food, rent and bills.
Referral by child protection authority
Your payments can be income managed if your local child protection authority refers you.
Referral by the Family Responsibilities Commission
Your payments can be income managed if the Family Responsibilities Commission (FRC) in Queensland refers you.
Supporting People at Risk
Your payments can be income managed if an approved organisation refers you.
Vulnerable Welfare Payment Recipients
Your payments can be income managed if a social worker refers you or you’re a vulnerable young person.
Youth and long term payment recipients
Your payments may be income managed because you live in the Northern Territory and have been receiving a specific payment.
Voluntary Income Management
You can volunteer for Income Management if you need help with managing your payments.
Help to budget
If you want help to manage your money, we can refer you to a financial management program.
