Your Newstart Allowance may not start until you go to your first appointment with an Employment Services Provider.
Your payment will stop if you don’t keep your agreement to look for work and can’t give us a good reason.

Newstart Allowance is paid every 2 weeks. Your payment amount will depend on your circumstances.
You need to be actively looking for work while you’re getting Newstart Allowance.
