Use the app to do a range of things 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Medicare

View your Medicare card details and current card members.
Update contact details.
Update bank account details.
Order a replacement or duplicate Medicare card.

Submit claims for most services.
View, download, print or email your Medicare Claims History statements for the last 3 years.

View your Medicare Safety Net balance.

View, download, print or email Immunisation History Statements for:

  • yourself
  • your child under the age of 14.

Register your organ donation decision.
Change your organ donation decision.
Request a new Australian Organ Donor Register card.
View a digital copy of your Australian Organ Donor Register card.

Find a service centre.

How to download the app

Before downloading the Express Plus Medicare mobile app, you need a myGov account linked to Medicare. This creates your Medicare online account. You can then download and use the app.

  1. Go to myGov to create a myGov account and link it to Medicare.
  2. Download the Express Plus Medicare mobile app to your device.
  3. Download an Express Plus mobile app from the App Store Download an Express Plus mobile app from Google Play 

  4. Accept the terms and conditions.
  5. Sign in with your myGov username and password.
  6. Answer your secret question to set up your 4 digit PIN.

To download to an iPad, search for iPhone only in the App Store.

How to protect your privacy

When you download the app you’ll set up your 4 digit PIN. It’s important you don’t store your PIN on your mobile device. This is for your safety if you lose your mobile device. If you think someone else has used your details without your knowledge, call Medicare general enquiries. We'll talk you through the next steps.

You can cancel your Medicare online account at any time. This will stop access to the Express Plus Medicare mobile app.
