Important changes to the Child Support secure messaging service

10 November 2017

We’re changing our secure messaging service. The change means you can’t send us a message with secure messaging in your Child Support online account.

You can still access and view your messages for a limited time.

If you wish to keep your secure messages, you must save them by 26 November.

To save your messages, you need to:

  1. Sign in to your Child Support online account through myGov
  2. Go to Sent messages and View messages
  3. Copy and paste the messages you want to keep into a document and save it on your computer, or take a screenshot to save it as an image on your smartphone

We’ll reply to any outstanding secure messages you have sent us by letter or phone.

We’ll keep all your messages on file. In the future, if you need your messages you can request these from us.

You can continue to send documents electronically by emailing them to webmaster@humanservices.gov.au
