Overview of the annual performance statement for 2016-17
The department met 30 of its 36 performance measures in 2016–17 through the delivery of its social security and welfare, health and child support programs.
In 2016-17 the department participated in a number of public sector endorsed programs as well as private sector industry association award programs.
The Budget 2017-18 was announced on 9 May 2017 and included 42 measures which affect the department.
