Description of the measure

This measure will increase the maximum rate (Method One) taper of Family Tax Benefit (FTB) Part A beyond the Higher Income Free Area (HIFA).

The Method One taper will increase from 20 cents to 30 cents for each dollar once a family’s income has exceeded the value of the HIFA, which is $94,316.
