Child Dental Benefits Schedule — increased cap - Budget 2017-18

This measure increases the two calendar year benefits cap from $700 to $1,000 for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS).

Description of Measure

This measure increases the two calendar year benefits cap from $700 to $1,000 for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS).

This benefits cap increase is effective from 1 January 2017 and applies to all children eligible for the CDBS.

A notification advising of eligibility for the $1,000 benefit cap is being sent to eligible children or their parents/guardians and approved care organisations.

The Benefits cap increase started on 1 January 2017 and is ongoing.
