Health professionals: Do you need an interpreter to talk to your patients?

18 December 2018

Call the Doctors Priority Line for an interpreter who can help you speak with your non-English speaking patients. It’s available 24/7.

The Doctors Priority Line is a phone interpreting service to help you communicate with your patients. You can access interpreter services in more than 160 languages.

It’s a free service if you’re an eligible health professional who’s providing services we cover.

You can access immediate phone interpreting services 24/7. You can also pre-book an interpreter for patient appointments where you’ll need help to communicate with them.

The service is run by the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS). Read more about the TIS and the Doctors Priority Line on the TIS website.
