If we don’t have your patient's bank details, we can’t pay their Medicare benefits.
The quickest and easiest way for your patients to get their Medicare benefits is if you lodge their claim at your practice.
If your patient has provided their bank account details, then we pay the benefit in to their account.
If your patient hasn’t registered their bank details with us, that’s okay. Just tell them they need to give us their banking details. They can do this online using their Medicare online account, or with the Express Plus Medicare mobile app.
We’ll hold their benefits and pay them automatically as soon as we have their bank account details.
