Renew early to continue operating your Approved Collection Centre (ACC)

Apply now to beat the rush and get your application in before your approved status expires.
Over the next few months, we’ll experience a peak in ACC renewal applications.
There are steps you can take to make sure your application is processed quickly with no delays.
It’s important to get your application in early and before your current approval period ends. You must have a current approval in place to claim for Medicare benefits.
You should apply early to allow for processing times.
You’ll need to include your lease and floorplan details when you apply. We can’t accept applications without these details. If you manage collection centres in several locations, please make an application for each centre location.
You can apply online through HPOS or you can apply by form.
To apply in HPOS you first need to set up PRODA and HPOS and link to your APA.
Make sure you download and fill out the latest Application for new, renewal or cancellation of an Approved Collection Centre form from our website. This will help avoid delays—we’ll send incomplete applications back.
